Cicero Camp Out!
The Cicero Camp Out is returning on June 21-22! Families are invited to spend the night in their tent/camper at Joseph F. William Memorial Park. Activities for the whole family will be included, as well as evening swimming in the lake. Breakfast will also be included. See pages 4-5 in the 2014 Summer Brochure for full details. Sites start at just $25 and can be reserved online.
As a part of the Community Camp Out on June 21, everyone is invited to watch "Finding Nemo" outside with beautiful Oneida Lake as a backdrop. There is no fee to attend and concession items will be available for purchase. Bring a camp chair or blanket and spend an evening with us. The movie will start after sundown, around 8:45 pm at Joseph F. William Memorial Park.
Concerts by The Bay
In cooperation with the Greater Cicero Chamber of Commerce, the Town will be hosting multiple concerts at Joseph F. William Memorial Park & Beach throughout the summer. On Concert nights, lifeguards will stay on duty until 8 pm. Members of the Chamber will also be selling food at a concession stand. Concerts are held on Tuesdays from 6-8 pm. In case of inclement weather, concerts will be held the following day.

The Fall Festival, co-sponsored by the Bridgeport Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, is held the first Saturday in October at Bridgeport Fire Station #1 on Route 31 in Bridgeport. Activities offered usually include a Craft/Vendor Show, Fire Prevention, Farmer’s Market, Scarecrow Stuffing, Face Painting, Kids Games, Pumpkin Painting, Child ID Program, Raffles and Safety Demonstrations.
Holiday House Decorating Contest
If your house is the envy of the neighborhood every Holiday season, nominate yourself to be declared the BEST in Cicero. Winners are highlighted in local publications and on the Facebook page. Start planning for 2014 now!
The Town hosts two Tree Lighting Celebrations every year in Cicero and Brewerton the first weekend of December.
Cicero - The 2014 Tree Lighting is scheduled for Friday, December 5 at 6 pm at Sleeth Park, near the corner of Route 11 and Factory Street (across from M&T). After the lighting, festivities continue at Cicero Fire Station 1 and include refreshments, photos with Santa, face painting and more. Check back for more information.
Brewerton - The 2014 Tree Lighting is scheduled for Sunday, December 7 at 7 pm at the Brewerton Fire Department. Following the ceremony there will be refreshments and a visit from Santa.
Over the school's February Break, all Cicero residents are challenged to make the best and most creative Snowman, to fit in one of the following categories: Classic Frosty, Snow Family, Celebrity Snowman, and/or Alternative Snowman (in case there is no snow). Entries should be emailed during February break to firstname.lastname@example.org to be entered in the drawing.
Easter Egg Hunt
The 2015 Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday, March 28 at the American Legion on Legionnaire Drive behind the Cicero Clay Post Office. There will be two time groups for participants to choose from: 8:30 am to 10:00 am OR 10:45 am to 12:15 pm. Pre-registration for the Hunt is required and MUST be completed by Friday at Noon, or before each group reaches 200, whichever comes first. Due to supplies, children that do not pre-register may be turned away.
Pre-registration can be completed by emailing email@example.com with child's name, age and time choice. The Egg Hunt is for children ages 3 through 9 and children are divided into age groups for the Hunt, however there will be additional activities inside for all ages.
