Sheldon Memorial Park

Sheldon Memorial Park

8011 Route 31, Bridgeport

Named after Bridgeport Fire Department’s First Chief, Harry Sheldon, the often-forgotten park is located on the banks of the Chittenango Creek. Because the park is located on Route 31, it is a State Bicycle Route 5 Rest Stop for cyclists passing through the area. For everyone else, it is a park that offers shade under the pavilion, a chance to relax on the benches or a great spot to do some stream fishing.
