CICERO SUMMER DAY CAMP 2026

Cicero Summer Day Camp is back!
We are excited to continue to facilitate this program for you!
Camp will be held at Smith Road Elementary School (5959 Smith Road, North Syracuse, NY 13212).
The first day of camp will be Monday, June 29th and the last day of camp will be Friday, August 7th. Camp will be Monday - Friday between 8:15am - 3:15pm. The only exception being Friday, July 3rd. There will be no camp on Friday, July 3rd, as it is being observed as a national holiday and The Town of Cicero offices will be closed.
Each day, campers will rotate through different stations and activities, led by our wonderful camp counselors and activity leaders. We will also have themed days to make camp extra fun! A calendar will be released with each themed day for planning purposes.
We hope each camper will keep old friends and make new ones while participating in camp favorites and trying new activities. Whether a camper is interested in sports, arts, STEM, nature, or all of the above, we will have a great time!
NEW! We are excited to announce that will be offering field trips to all age groups of campers. Field trips include places like Clarks Reservation State Park, Beaver Lake Nature Center, Elite Gaming, Get Air, and more! We welcome field trip suggestions too! Field trips will be an additional fee. Camp will remain open if a camper(s) does not wish to attend a field trip.
Also, save the date for Friday, August 7th, from 12:00pm - 3:00pm, as we would like to invite all campers and their family members to our last day of camp celebration! We will have inflatables, food trucks, and a camper art showcase!
NEW! Introducing our CIT (Counselor-In-Training) Program!
This is a leadership program designed for campers
interested in becoming and preparing to be a future Summer Camp Counselor! CITs
are not considered staff-they are campers.
Program hours of operation and location are the same as summer
camp. (8:15am – 3:15pm at Smith Road Elementary School). Program registrants
must be entering grade 8 – entering grade 10. Spaces will be limited to ensure quality
time and outcomes for each participant. All participants are required to
complete an interview with our Parks and Recreation staff as we would like candidates
to gain hands-on experience in practicing job search navigation and the
interview processes. applying to jobs.
Participants will spend part of their day skill building and
part of the day being a camper and having fun! Participants will also be able
to attend field trips if they choose to.

Each camper registered will receive a camp t-shirt as long as they are registered before Monday, June 1st.
New, this year, we are offering a payment plan. Registrants may pay in full or make partial payments until paid in full. Full payment will be due by Monday, June 1st. If a registrant neglects to pay in full, by Monday, June 1st, your campers will be removed from the camp roster.
PLEASE NOTE! THERE WILL BE A MINIMUM PAYMENT DUE OF 20% PER WEEK PER CAMPER AT REGISTRATION.
If you need to cancel registration, for any reason, the last day to request a refund is Monday, June 1st. All refunds, no matter when requested, will be deducted by $25.00 per week per camper.
AGES:
Cicero Summer Day Camp is for grades entering 1st (must have completed one year of Kindergarten) - entering grade 7 (must have completed grade 6). There are no exceptions to the age requirements. If a camper has not completed a full year of kindergarten, they will not be allowed to register. Please see our CIT (Counselor in Training) Program for campers entering grade 8 and above.
REGISTRATION:
When registering you may sign up for one week, all six weeks, or any combination of weeks. Campers are considered registered when ALL documents are submitted and payment is received in full. We will not hold spaces for incomplete registrations.
You will need to upload, email, or fax (315-699-5234) a current immunization certificate at the time of registration. The immunization certificate must be as current as possible. Per the Onondaga Health Department, the certificate must say "Printed in 2026." If your camper does not have an annual physical until after registration time, we will accept your most recent immunization certificate during registration. However, we request you to indicate when their next upcoming appointment is, so we know when to expect an updated certificate.
We have updated the summer day camp registration form for the 2026 camp season. It is recommended you view the new registration form, in the list below, so you have all required information prepared for registration day.
We recommend ensuring you know your login information, so you can quickly assess the registration portal. Please click here to test your username and password. While you are logged in; double check that our registration portal labels your account as "resident" to ensure you are allowed to register on the proper date. PAYMENT:

REFUNDS:
The last day to request a refund will be June 1st. No refunds, in any amount, will be issued after Monday, June 1st.
Refunds before that date will be charged $25.00 per week per camper.
T-SHIRTS:
Campers who register on or before June 1st will receive a 2026 camp t-shirt.
CICERO RESIDENTS:
Registration for Cicero Residents will open online on Feb. 2nd at 10:00 AM.
NON-RESIDENTS:
Registration for Non-Residents will open on March 2nd at 10:00 AM.
2025 Day Camp Fees:
Residents: $200.00/week
Non-Residents: $275.00/week
