Our Parks Crew:
This crew covers so much ground (LITERALLY!!) all 200+ acres!
They do everything from maintaining our 8 parks, 7 cemeteries, 3 park n rides, Senior Center and our Teen Center. They also strive to ensure safety as a priority for our community. They work hard maintaining our athletic fields, building structures, cutting trees, mowing/plowing and assisting us in all our Special Events and Community Events! Their job description is endless and we are forever grateful to have such great teammates who love this community and what they do!

Tony Burkinshaw, Parks & Recreation Director
Tony previously served as the Parks and Recreation Director for the Village of North Syracuse from 2020 to 2025 before joining the Town. Prior to that, he dedicated 15 years of service to the Town of Lysander. Tony is excited about taking on new challenges and looks forward to supporting the continued growth of the department and the community. In his free time, he enjoys being a husband and a father to his three wonderful children.
Jessica Soulier, Staff Support
Jessica is a Cicero resident and enjoys serving and being an active part of her community. Like many of us in our department, her job entails endless tasks and she thrives when given new challenges. Jessica works closely with our Parks Crew, our Senior Center, Teen Center and our Parks Director and Program Director. She is the behind-the-scenes administrative support that keeps the department running smoothly! In her free time, she spends time with her husband, children (and two pups) gardening, hiking and camping.
