YOGA - Restorative Yoga_April

Restorative yoga is a restful practice that holds seated or lying down yoga poses for a longer duration, using assorted props (blankets, cushions, blocks) in order to fully support the body. The work emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga, emphasizes stillness over movement, being over doing.

As Michele guides you through 4 or 5 poses over the hour, Sue will play her live instruments - singing bowls, chimes, bells, drums, and more to enable you to further settle into the poses and into yourself.

Sue Montminy has been a wellness practitioner for over 25 years. She is a 200 hour RYT (registered yoga teacher) and is certified to teach both Restorative and Yin yoga as well. In addition, she is a certified Sound Practitioner.

Michele Gannett also has been a wellness practitioner for over 25 years. She is a 200 hour RYT as well as a 200 hour Meditation teacher. She is certified in Accessible Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga.
